Poppers!

A Kid-Friendly Fun & Safe Popper for the 4th of July

You will need: Toilet paper rolls, paint, tissue paper, glue, scissors, and dried flower petals.

Start by painting the cardboard roll red, white and blue.

    Let your paint dry thoroughly

Cut your ballon at the wide spot like this.

Next glue ballon on the coordinating color. Again let dry thoroughly.

You can decorate your popper with tissue paper. Or use tissue paper instead of paint.

Collect and dry red, white and blue flowers. You want them very dry and in small pieces so they fly!

Stuff your poppers with the flower petals and pop the ballon on the end to make the flower petals fly!

You may also try adding seeds for the birds. Or you can cut little pieces of tissue paper for confetti.

    Happy 4th of July all!
